My hair smells like toast pt II

So, it’s Monday. Yes, I know it’s been over a week. Sorry. I’ll get better at this, I promise.

I’m currently sitting at Camp for my state SRC.

Not the most interesting session at the moment, but it will get better.

And guess what!

My hair is red.

I know what you’re thinking.

I’m sure her hair was already red.

But it’s more red!

Very red.

Excitement.

It looks a little bit like it’s on fire…

It's kind of like van pelt's hair in The Mentalist. (see photo)

I love that show.

Anyway.

You probably would like to know how the cast

Sorry, just got told off for not paying attention.

Blah, strategic planning.

Where was I?

Oh yeah, cast list.

So I didn’t get the part I wanted *cries*

But I did get a part. And I get a whole song :)

Yay! It’s a flirty, fun part so I’m happy.

Gtg, dinner.

my hair smells like toast

It's that satisfying straight hair smell.

Also, FIREFOX IS FIXED. thank god. safari was driving me insane.

what else is happening?

less than 12 hours till cast list.

AHH AHH AHH AHH

I've had a stomach ache all day just thinking about it.

I missed Jules today too. a lot.

I don't know, just one of those things.

We had a big luncheon, my family. I haven't seen most of them since Australia Day, and Jules was there.

So naturally they asked about him and I had to explain and it was just generally not pleasant.

It reminded me of that weekend and how amazing it was and how in love we were.

and that made me miss him.

Oh well, Musical stuff tomorrow will distract me enough, hopefully.

ok, I should probably go do music homework.

luck of the irish

Hi there! So it's Tuesday night and tomorrow is a MASSIVE day.

Firstly, it's St Patrick's Day. AWESOME. My family is part irish and gets quite into it, I shall be wearing a lot of green tomorrow.

Secondly, it's my audition for Anything Goes. MAJOR STRESS. I want this part so badly... but I've prepped all I can, now I just have to wait and see. Hopefully the luck of the irish will prevail :)

After that I have VET and then School Council.

loooooong, tiring, day.

Lots of CAPITAL LETTERS, as you can see.

In more exciting news, Chen Chen and I have plans to see Derek Landy in a week and a bit.

He is author of the amazing Skulduggery Pleasant series. It's awesome. You should read it.

He's also Irish, this makes him twice as awesome.

I'll keep you posted. (and by you, I mean Mia and Miranda, the only people who read this. Hi!)

Keep Smiling :)

a letter

Dear Year 12,

We have been friends for over a month now but I'm already sensing some issues between us. While you do give me awesome leaving school privileges and an awesome excuse to bully the year 8s, you should really stop giving me these stupid SAC things.

You should also stop giving stupid acronyms to everything. ATAR? really? that sounds like some kind of robot dinosaur. I would also appreciate it if you would not reward me for working hard in subjects I find difficult, by marking them down ridiculously.

Even better, you could just scrap the whole ENTER thing altogether. I'm sure it would save you a lot of time. With these changes, you'd become a whole lot easier and I'm sure you'd become a lot more popular. I'm only looking out for what is best for both of us.

Love, Infriga xx

FEATURED BLOGGER: MIA

Hey hey hey!
I'm the featured blogger today! It's Mia, from the oh so popular blog Mia Who.

Is that even what it's called? I don't know. Maybe it isn't.

Infriga has gone downstairs to collect venn diagrams because she lost rock paper scissors and I am feeling quite victorious at this point in time.

Helpful Hint: your chances are increased in winning rock paper scissors if you say "Best of three." That's my advice to you, readers. Which I hear is only Miranda and Mia. And I'm Mia, so it must be Miranda. Hi Miranda. But there's probably more of you. Hi you guys.

I'm at a loss as to what to write now, so I think I'll put in a nice picture of an otter at the top of the page. Oh wait it's two otters. Here it goes. Now there's a picture. I'm pretty sure you saw it at the start, but it wasn't there for me, so that's fun for us.

I'm going to go now.

Bye!

Mia Who?

(This signature below here, the one saying infriga, that was there before I started and I don't feel like I'm in a position to delete that. So you can enjoy that bit of fun.)

in olden days a glimpse of stocking...

So, our school musical was officially announced as Anything Goes today, something we all knew last week but if was official today.

Auditions for leads are next week, so naturally I'm a bundle of nerves.

I guess all I can do it throw everything I've got at it and do my best.

I'm SO EXCITED for it all though. I love musical and the wonderful musical people and camp and the awesome in jokes and everything.

It's something great to look forward to every week.

and I've been looking in the back of the book for the answers

I kinda just had this odd epiphany. I was talking to this beautiful girl I know about our upcoming school musical. (we all think we know what it is but it's announced officially tomorrow, so I shall blog about it then)

Anyway, we have musical camp every year at the same place and this year will be our fourth and final year. sad right?

I think it was the first time I realised that this is our final year and that next year there is no more high school, no more musical camp, no more of the routine I've got used to for the last five years.

It is a big step moving on and I'm going to miss everything. I like my school, I love my friends and it's hard to let all that go.

It's exciting to see where life leads me, but I'm a little scared.

I guess hopefully by this time next year I'll be ready?

I know I'll be crying on our last day.

But every time one door closes another opens, and I have to be ready to jump through that new door with an open mind and an excited smile :)

ok, enough nostalgia. I really need to clean/homework/cook/anything but facebook.

I am a terrible student.

But I have an awesome new top to wear tomorrow with my jeans and my favourite boots, so yay.

oh yeah, and the title of this blog is a quote from the musical 13. google it. it's awesome.

oh yeah, you're probably wondering what's with the boys. well, I'm single now, I CAN DO WHAT I CHOOSE.

and if I choose to post ridiculously good looking boys on my blog, then so be it.

mother of all hail storms

So, Melbourne is experiencing a bit of intense weather, with rain and hail and thunder of all sorts. It's FULL ON. It's quite scary to see things floating down your street. Seriously, read here to see actually how epic is all is.

I live in a three story house, relatively new and never worry about flooding, but alas our roof decided to leak everywhere. The photo is our attempt to keep the stairs dry with towels.

I have loads of homework, but will hopefully be seeing Alice this weekend. huzzah.

It looks like an amazing cast (love Helena Bonham Carter), I shall review it and keep y'all informed.

Ok, well it's technically Saturday now, and I am majorly tired.

so sleepity sleep.

lots of things to look forward to.

babysitting

so I'm home tonight babysitting my 3 year old cousin, while my mother and my aunt and uncle enjoy George Michael.

unfair, I know. I'm not even being paid!

but he's gorgeous, my cousin.

so cute and little.

we watched shrek and played with my mice (he loves my mice) and now he's sound asleep.

I see this as mum-training for the future.

the distant future. not planning on becoming a mum soon.

but eventually.

today's photo is from the film WALL-E, a movie my cousin loves.

the above picture is credited to vika8d and shows WALL-E and EVE in Human Form. Epic, right?
