more blog spam

Sorry, on a bit of a rampage now I have internet again.

3 posts in a day!

I'm home with Mum now, and there has been a lot of crying and talking and more crying.

We looked through some old photos of Grandpa which was nice and Mum explained what had happened the last few days. She said for an awful occurrence, everything that could have gone right, did.

All my family made it in time to see him, and he passed away in the early hours of this morning, the night nurse on duty had known him for years and called mum to tell her which was ok.

Mum and I watched Glee which cheered her up.

It's nice to be home with her, I feel like we're together and everything will be ok.

Lots of stuff feels like it's coming apart at the seams at the moment.

Sure, looking through pretty blogs and immersing myself in TV and my book is a good distraction.

But everything feels like it's slowly crumbling.

I'll be ok. Everything will be ok. It always is.

In other news, I got myself a good dose of retail therapy today and went shopping and bought a lovely black jacket. Shopping cures all ailments. But only when you have money.

*shifty look*

Anyway, my beautiful friends have been lovely and kind to me through all this, so here's a shout out to Miranda, Ben, Lucy, Caitlin, Michael, Holly and Owy.

(click on those links to see my friends' awesome blogs)

Thanks Guys for being amazing.

Oh yeah, and a final thing. I've started using Labels now. See all the words in the green box to the right of this post? Click on them. They shall take you to every post where I talk about that thing/person. The bigger the word is, the more I talk about it.

Anyway, sleep is therapeutic, so goodnight.

internet at last

I'm still at dad's.

Grandpa passed away this morning.

I don't know how to feel.

He was 79.

I promise my next post will be positive and filled with Glee. Literally.

wednesday

I am clearly the worst year 12 student ever.

In other news...

Didn't have the best day yesterday but today will be better hopefully.

My Grandpa's in hospital and it doesn't look like he's going to survive.

I don't really know how to feel.

I should probably go get dressed.

After this post, there will be many Glee related ones.

Because Glee is awesome and is finally back!!

It should show in America at 2pm our time, so download-able after that :)

11:11

The clock just ticked over, and I closed my eyes to make a wish. I suddenly realised I didn't know what to wish for. Sure I could wish for peace in Thailand or for another Labor win in the Federal Election this year or for my football team to continue to win games like it did last night (it was amazing); but wishes aren't fun unless they're selfish.

I used to wish for Jules back, but I know now that we could never go back. There's noone else I particularly want boy-wise. Sure, it would be nice to have another guy in my life and I do miss having a boyfriend but there's no particular guy that fits the mould currently.

Musical wise, sure I would have liked to get Reno, but I don't want it now and I am happy with my part.

I'm getting on with both of my parents for the first time in years, same with my friends.

School is tough, and I am struggling with the workload but I just need to be more focused and I'll be fine.

So yes, I know 11:11 was an hour ago now, but I want to donate my wish to Ryan, a friend of mine who is 15 and currently struggling with Leukaemia.

I hope you get through this, I know you will and I hope you live a long, healthy happy life. You deserve it.

To finish off, here is a picture that gave me hope of something good in a place of terror.

my hair smells like toast

It's that satisfying straight hair smell.

Also, FIREFOX IS FIXED. thank god. safari was driving me insane.

what else is happening?

less than 12 hours till cast list.

AHH AHH AHH AHH

I've had a stomach ache all day just thinking about it.

I missed Jules today too. a lot.

I don't know, just one of those things.

We had a big luncheon, my family. I haven't seen most of them since Australia Day, and Jules was there.

So naturally they asked about him and I had to explain and it was just generally not pleasant.

It reminded me of that weekend and how amazing it was and how in love we were.

and that made me miss him.

Oh well, Musical stuff tomorrow will distract me enough, hopefully.

ok, I should probably go do music homework.

luck of the irish

Hi there! So it's Tuesday night and tomorrow is a MASSIVE day.

Firstly, it's St Patrick's Day. AWESOME. My family is part irish and gets quite into it, I shall be wearing a lot of green tomorrow.

Secondly, it's my audition for Anything Goes. MAJOR STRESS. I want this part so badly... but I've prepped all I can, now I just have to wait and see. Hopefully the luck of the irish will prevail :)

After that I have VET and then School Council.

loooooong, tiring, day.

Lots of CAPITAL LETTERS, as you can see.

In more exciting news, Chen Chen and I have plans to see Derek Landy in a week and a bit.

He is author of the amazing Skulduggery Pleasant series. It's awesome. You should read it.

He's also Irish, this makes him twice as awesome.

I'll keep you posted. (and by you, I mean Mia and Miranda, the only people who read this. Hi!)

Keep Smiling :)

friday night

so it's been a while, hi to all those loyal readers out there....

or basically Hi Miranda.

I have no faith that anyone else actually reads this, so if you do please comment, it will make me feel loved.

so, this week I've been sick, which has been adding to the wonderful mood I've been in lately.

*cough sarcasm*

so lets make a list, I like lists.

THINGS GEORGIA HAS LEARNT THIS WEEK

* being sick sucks
* grandparents get grumpy when you won't tell
them why you aren't going out with someone anymore
* music is hard
* apparently being dumped is not a legitimate
reason to get out of Year 12 homework
* I miss Holly
* mice aren't good at dnms
* no braces feel funny
* retainers make you talk silly

and the fatal blow

* jules is never getting back with me.
