MESSAGES TO LOVELY PEOPLE.

michael, you won't get this till later but I hope you do well on your sac-itty sac. hallelujah indeed. just think of patti lupone. she will get you through.

jane, I am pumped to watch your amazing talented acting skills this afternoon.

miranda, I reckon we should have a sleepover and watch sister act 1 & 2 soon. I have a craving for them. thoughts?

lucy, yes I'm leaving in a second, I'll see you at GTAC in 10 minutes.

caitlin, I watched the weeping angels. twas pretty epic.

holly, I need to see you. WITHDRAWAL.

benjamin, I need a hug from you. they always cheer me up.

On July 27, it will be 500 days till I'm 18. My latest idea is to take a photo for all those days. I know it will be difficult but hopefully achievable. A lot is going to change in those 500 days and I'm scared and excited and would love to document it.

Anyway, I am now off to GTAC to meet Luce, so au revoir!

may is going to be a good month

Wonderous day.

Melbourne Zombie Shuffle was on, so Emma and I were mobbed by them. Some amazing costuming going on. BRAINS.

VicSRC went really well and I'm starting to get sad about it finishing because I love it so much and it's such a big part of my life.

Then I went to the football with Holly which was MAGNIFICENT.

GO BOMBERS.

We explored the hall of fame too which was heaps of fun.

Anyway, sleep now because I have to go into school tomorrow, (I know, school on a sunday. bleurgh) for choir.

So nighty night to all those lovely people who read this.

you with the sad eyes

Pope Benedict XVI asleep at his post
during an outdoor Mass in Valletta, Malta.

It feels like so much has happened since I last posted, I've been on such a rollercoaster of emotions. Yes I know that's a cliche but it's true.

Thursday, school was shit, but that was to be expected. I don't know why I bother going anymore.

They only highlight of the day, was walking home I started crying. Everything was just overwhelming me and I felt so alone. Then out of nowhere, I hear coming out of my school bag 'Don't worry, I'm determined to succeed! Follow my lead.. and yes indeed...' (for those musical theatre dummies, it's the opening of a song from wicked)

Only one of my friends has that ringtone, and I just started to sob because I really needed her at that moment. I turned around and there she was, running towards me and sweeping me up in a hug.

I love you Ellen.

So she looked after me and helped me pack and prepare for the horror that was going to be Friday.

It's nice to know some of my friends still care about me.

I got lovely letters from Holly and Caitlin and an email from Erinna. I wish I went to school with you guys.

miss you all.

Mum and I drove down to Albury that night so I spent some time with my gorgeous little cousin which was nice.

Then it was the funeral Friday. It was awful.

Seeing both my parents cry and staring at the coffin.

I think it gave me some closure though, but it was still really difficult.

for holly

“I didn’t even tell my mother I was gay, she just sort of found out through other relatives.. and I heard she cried a lot about it, and I was like ‘Well that’s nothing to go by, my mother cries all the time. She cries when I leave the kitchen cupboard open!’
But with my brother coming out years earlier, I didn’t really expect her to react that way, you know? My dad then said ‘Oh don’t worry, I just think she’s just finally realised she’s never going to have any grandchildren.’
…Well that’s a little inconsiderate towards my sister. And her fiancĂ©e.”

more blog spam

Sorry, on a bit of a rampage now I have internet again.

3 posts in a day!

I'm home with Mum now, and there has been a lot of crying and talking and more crying.

We looked through some old photos of Grandpa which was nice and Mum explained what had happened the last few days. She said for an awful occurrence, everything that could have gone right, did.

All my family made it in time to see him, and he passed away in the early hours of this morning, the night nurse on duty had known him for years and called mum to tell her which was ok.

Mum and I watched Glee which cheered her up.

It's nice to be home with her, I feel like we're together and everything will be ok.

Lots of stuff feels like it's coming apart at the seams at the moment.

Sure, looking through pretty blogs and immersing myself in TV and my book is a good distraction.

But everything feels like it's slowly crumbling.

I'll be ok. Everything will be ok. It always is.

In other news, I got myself a good dose of retail therapy today and went shopping and bought a lovely black jacket. Shopping cures all ailments. But only when you have money.

*shifty look*

Anyway, my beautiful friends have been lovely and kind to me through all this, so here's a shout out to Miranda, Ben, Lucy, Caitlin, Michael, Holly and Owy.

(click on those links to see my friends' awesome blogs)

Thanks Guys for being amazing.

Oh yeah, and a final thing. I've started using Labels now. See all the words in the green box to the right of this post? Click on them. They shall take you to every post where I talk about that thing/person. The bigger the word is, the more I talk about it.

Anyway, sleep is therapeutic, so goodnight.

friday night

so it's been a while, hi to all those loyal readers out there....

or basically Hi Miranda.

I have no faith that anyone else actually reads this, so if you do please comment, it will make me feel loved.

so, this week I've been sick, which has been adding to the wonderful mood I've been in lately.

*cough sarcasm*

so lets make a list, I like lists.

THINGS GEORGIA HAS LEARNT THIS WEEK

* being sick sucks
* grandparents get grumpy when you won't tell
them why you aren't going out with someone anymore
* music is hard
* apparently being dumped is not a legitimate
reason to get out of Year 12 homework
* I miss Holly
* mice aren't good at dnms
* no braces feel funny
* retainers make you talk silly

and the fatal blow

* jules is never getting back with me.
