Doctor Who. with a new companion and a new doctor! Yes, I know it's been back for a bit, I'm just a little behind. sorry. But it gives me a good excuse to post epic doctor who photos! :) HUZZAH.
So, we have the new eleventh doctor played by Matt Smith Picture
and his new companion, Amy Pond - played by Karen Gillan Picture
They meet (can't be bothered explaining how, watch the amazingness of this show for goodness sake) Picture
She thinks that he is just a... Picture
and he just thinks that she's a policeman. Picture
So, they save the Earth together and then jump in the new and improved TARDIS to go travel the Universe. They then stumble upon a spaceship with a problem (surprise surprise). Picture
The eleventh doctor shows that he can be just a kooky as the tenth... Picture
...and the new companion proves she can be a little kooky too. Picture
They meet a hip new queen... Picture
...and then Amy saves a giant whale... Picture
...and earns the Doctor's trust. Picture
I'm liking this new duo, but part of me will always miss these two. Picture

more blog spam
Sorry, on a bit of a rampage now I have internet again.
3 posts in a day!
I'm home with Mum now, and there has been a lot of crying and talking and more crying.
We looked through some old photos of Grandpa which was nice and Mum explained what had happened the last few days. She said for an awful occurrence, everything that could have gone right, did.
All my family made it in time to see him, and he passed away in the early hours of this morning, the night nurse on duty had known him for years and called mum to tell her which was ok.
Mum and I watched Glee which cheered her up.
It's nice to be home with her, I feel like we're together and everything will be ok.
Lots of stuff feels like it's coming apart at the seams at the moment.
Sure, looking through pretty blogs and immersing myself in TV and my book is a good distraction.
But everything feels like it's slowly crumbling.
I'll be ok. Everything will be ok. It always is.
In other news, I got myself a good dose of retail therapy today and went shopping and bought a lovely black jacket. Shopping cures all ailments. But only when you have money.
*shifty look*
Anyway, my beautiful friends have been lovely and kind to me through all this, so here's a shout out to Miranda, Ben, Lucy, Caitlin, Michael, Holly and Owy.
(click on those links to see my friends' awesome blogs)
Thanks Guys for being amazing.
Oh yeah, and a final thing. I've started using Labels now. See all the words in the green box to the right of this post? Click on them. They shall take you to every post where I talk about that thing/person. The bigger the word is, the more I talk about it.
Anyway, sleep is therapeutic, so goodnight.

FEATURED BLOGGER: MIA
Hey hey hey!I'm the featured blogger today! It's Mia, from the oh so popular blog Mia Who.
Is that even what it's called? I don't know. Maybe it isn't.
Infriga has gone downstairs to collect venn diagrams because she lost rock paper scissors and I am feeling quite victorious at this point in time.
Helpful Hint: your chances are increased in winning rock paper scissors if you say "Best of three." That's my advice to you, readers. Which I hear is only Miranda and Mia. And I'm Mia, so it must be Miranda. Hi Miranda. But there's probably more of you. Hi you guys.
I'm at a loss as to what to write now, so I think I'll put in a nice picture of an otter at the top of the page. Oh wait it's two otters. Here it goes. Now there's a picture. I'm pretty sure you saw it at the start, but it wasn't there for me, so that's fun for us.
I'm going to go now.
Bye!
Mia Who?
(This signature below here, the one saying infriga, that was there before I started and I don't feel like I'm in a position to delete that. So you can enjoy that bit of fun.)

sunday mornings

so I finally figured out how to change the time on this thing.
bloody northern hemisphere time. currently it is 11:28am on Sunday the 7th of February 2010, here in little old melb.
I should probably make reference to the random photos I post.
I think they liven things up a bit. it makes my writing look a tad more interesting I guess. they're pretty much random things I find on my friend's facebooks or google images or other random blogs.
*copyright disclaimer thing* if any of these photos are yours and you would like me to link to you or take them down, please comment and I will do so immediately.
so anyway, I should be doing homework now. but so should we all. so never mind.
I have been stalking some other blogs on here for inspiration/amusement. (stalking? browsing. that sounds better)
I think you should all stop reading this, (that means you miranda, my one and only fan) and go read this blog: The Sassy Curmudgeon
it's hilarious. and awesome.
