Glee 1.18 Laryngitis

Fave Song: Rose's Turn. I loved this so much. Chris Colfer did a phenomenal job of it. and it was pretty cool considering I've seen Patti LuPone perform it. Chris clearly had better diction. I've listened to it 8 times already. Crazy awesome. The following scene was amazing too, some great acting from both sides. Mum was crying. I bet you Jane was too. Picture

half straight, half curly

 
So I'm sitting here with half curly, half straight hair. I must look quite silly.

Today was my last SAC for a week so hooray for that :) Also, Glee is at 70.8% loaded as of now, SO YAY GLEE SOON.

My ears hurt from straightening burns. eek!

Tomorrow is Thursday and choir photos and then Friday is last ever school photos. I am a little sad.

and then Caito's musical, I am excited about that.

I am speaking on a panel on Saturday and just found out today that I am supposed to be speaking for a whole ten minutes, so I'm a little freaked about that.

and I am totally and blissfully in love with some of the beautiful, amazing people in my life.

Who needs boys when I have friends like you guys?

Not having the greatest day of my life, I thought I was totally over my ex-boyfriend and as it turns out I'm not and I miss him more than ever and ARGH at myself. I need to move on and it frustrates the hell out of me that I can't.

• Rachel, Wiggles Concert Seriously? 
• The opening bars of 'Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love' from A Chorus Line played when Jesse and Rachel were making out and it made me smile. Please let me not be the only person who noticed this
• Tina, I love the purple look
• Mr Schuester, I love the whole empowering women thing you've got going on in this episode. 
• Emma, I also love you. 'can't you talk to your Rabbi?'
• and the feminist in me loved Quinn saying 'Women still earn 70c to every dollar that a Man does for doing the same job' it's sad, but true.
• speaking of Quinn, she's still dancing pretty full on for a pregnant girl.....
• Yay for FINALLY picking up the Artie/Tina storyline that they decide to just let hang in Ep 9. I love them together.

Things are very up and down lately. This morning I went swimming with beautiful Lucy and her boyf and Cameron which was really nice and relaxing. Then I was exhausted and went to VET and got all sad about grandpa and was grumpy and horrible. Then had a chat to lovely people and it was all good.

also, just warning you about intense blog spam tonight. it's keeping me sane. and come on, it's Glee and Dance Finale tonight. so much epicness.

Leaving for Albury tomorrow for the funeral Friday. Things will be tough but I'm hoping it will give me some closure.

lazy sunday afternoon

ok, so it's sunday and yes I've actually done some homework. hurrah! but now I'm looking through so many awesome blogs with awesome pictures from shows I love and my friends love.

Sorry, on a bit of a rampage now I have internet again.

3 posts in a day!


I'm home with Mum now, and there has been a lot of crying and talking and more crying.

We looked through some old photos of Grandpa which was nice and Mum explained what had happened the last few days. She said for an awful occurrence, everything that could have gone right, did.

All my family made it in time to see him, and he passed away in the early hours of this morning, the night nurse on duty had known him for years and called mum to tell her which was ok.

Mum and I watched Glee which cheered her up.

It's nice to be home with her, I feel like we're together and everything will be ok.

Lots of stuff feels like it's coming apart at the seams at the moment.

Sure, looking through pretty blogs and immersing myself in TV and my book is a good distraction.

But everything feels like it's slowly crumbling.


I'll be ok. Everything will be ok. It always is.

In other news, I got myself a good dose of retail therapy today and went shopping and bought a lovely black jacket. Shopping cures all ailments. But only when you have money.

*shifty look*

Anyway, my beautiful friends have been lovely and kind to me through all this, so here's a shout out to Miranda, Ben, Lucy, Caitlin, Michael, Holly and Owy.

Glee 1.14 Hell-O

OMG GLEE ARGH ARGH AMAZINGNESS SPASM


So clearly it was amazing and has been missing from my life.

I shall now debrief the episode, as I have decided to do with each episode until I give up blogging or until Glee stops. NO NO NO. touch wood it just goes on forever. or at least like 10 years. hopefully by then there will be something else like a husband to distract me with.

I am clearly the worst year 12 student ever.

In other news...

Didn't have the best day yesterday but today will be better hopefully.

My Grandpa's in hospital and it doesn't look like he's going to survive.

I don't really know how to feel.

I should probably go get dressed.

After this post, there will be many Glee related ones.

Because Glee is awesome and is finally back!!

a breezy saturday afternoon

 Reading through blogs and contemplating life. I went shopping this morning with mum and my gorgeous ranga bffl. Bought the most adorable boots. Love Love Love.
